Phylogenetic study of theileria ovis and theileria lestoquardi in infected sheep and it is associated ticks in mosul city, Iraq

This is a first molecular report investigate the phylogenic analysis of Theileria spp. in sheep and it's infested ticks Mosul city-Iraq. A total 185 blood samples were collected from different areas city. sixty five Ixodid also parts infected animals. The overall prevalence was 52.4% (97 out 185), for ovis it 9.7%, lestoquardi 20% mixed infection 22.7% city, based on conventional-PCR multiplex-PCR techniques. infestation rat 11.8% (22 185) three species (n=65) identified classified: Hyalomma anatolicum 37 (56.9%), Rhipicephalus sanguineus 16 (24.6%), Rh. turanicus 12 (18.4%) microscopic examination. BLASTn individual sequencing six sequences 18S rRNA gene, composing T. (n=3) (One extracted two engorged female ticks), ticks).
